If you are experiencing lagging problems or disconnecting too often follow this simple steps that will make your PC and game run better.
1. Check your system requirements
Make sure you computer meets these requirements. How do you do that? Well you go to START, right click on MY COMPUTER and choose properties and there you should be able to see what you computer has. Compare it to this and if it's the same or greater you are good to go.
Minimum Requirements
CPU: Pentium 3 1GHz or higher RAM: 512MB or higher VGA: GeForce MX or higher Connection: 56k modem(dial-up) or greater.
2. Make your computer run faster so that the game can run smoothly by doing these things:
-Install 9Dragons in your biggest and fastest hard drive and never make that hard drive full 100% always leave at least 10% of it empty so it can run better.
-Uninstall all games and applications that you don't use/play that way your computer will run better and you will have more free space.
-Make sure all your drives are up to date and your windows is up to date too with the latest service packs.
-Get an antivirus and scan your computer every week to keep it clean from viruses and spywares but also make sure that this aintivirus does not block 9dragons in any way. A good Free antivirus is this one http://free.grisoft.com/.
-Defragment your hard drive at least one a month. You can do that by going to START, ALL PROGRAMS, ACCESORIES, SYSTEM TOOLS, DISK DEFRAGMENTER.
-Do a Disk clean up every week too. You can do this by going START, ALL PROGRAMS, ACCESSORIES, SYSTEM TOOLS, DISK CLEANUP. Or you can download CCleaner a much better disk cleaning program and its free. Here is the link http://www.ccleaner.com/.
-And also don't leave your computer ON 24/7, give some rest to you and your computer and also buy fans for your CPU so you can keep it cool.
3. Make 9D run faster
-If your computer only meets the minimum requirements to run this game run it in low graphics and use small resolution.
-Check your internet connection and if you have a wireless make sure you have a password to it. Wink
-Check your Firewall setting and Make sure it has ND launcher (Dragons.exe) under its exceptions list. To do this go to CONTROL PANEL, WINDOWS FIREWALL.
-Make sure that all other programs are closed when you are playing 9Dragons. You can check it at your Task manager just press ctrl+alt+del.
-Choose a server that is closer to you. If you are from Europe play on Bardo and if you are from America play on Nirvana or Asura. Other countries should play on the server that is more closer to them geographically or the less populated one.
-And Last but not least DELETE your ADCACHE FOLDER C:Program Files9Dragons or wherever you have it. You have to delete this every time you restart your 9dragons client. |
