Selling / Buying Items

Merchants will buy almost any item you can find. You can sell an item to a merchant by right clicking the item or by dragging it withe the mouse. Items that you cannot use(due to level, character gender or incorrect clan) will be displayed in the merchant window in red. You can still purchase them if you wish but you will not be able to use them. Some items that you cannot yet use(due to incorrect level or attributes)will have additional information displayer on them.

Remember to check the Clan Contribution Point value on any items you intend to sell to a merchant. You may prefer to donate an item with high Clan Contribution Points to your clan.

Courier`s Guild and Storage

The Courier`s Guild can offer you unlimited storage of your items at a reasonable price, and it can also deliver goods for you between their many storehouses throughout The Land. In order to store items through the Courier`s Guild, you first need to pay a usage fee in gold. To cancel this agreement, you must first remove all of your items from storage, however your usage fee is not refundable. You can share storage between different characters in your account.

Durability and Repair

All items have a Durability Score. When items are used, they suffer wear and tear. If you are unskilled with an item it wears out much more quickly. If you enter a coma or Near-Death state your items will wear out even faster. Items like weapons and clothing can be repaired in most towns by a Blacksmith or Seamstress. The rough Durability Score of an item is shown by clicking on it. An exact Durability Score can be seen only during purchase or repair.

Healing

You can pay any town`s Doctor to heal your internal or external wounds, and he can also sell you treatments which will allow you to heal yourself while you are traveling.

Each time you travel you run the risk of being wounded in battle. External wounds will lessen your Life and internal wounds will reduce your Vital Essence. Unless these wounds are treated and healed you will not be able to raise your Life or Vital Energy to their maximum scores. Consume a self-treatment or visit a Doctor at a local Clinic to have your wounds healed.

Lodging

There is at least one Inn in every town. If you talk to the Innkeeper, she will allow you to check-in and make that Inn your Revival Point. By choosing to revive at such an inn, you can minimize the amount of experience list from dying. If you check-in at a new town`s Inn, it will replace the previous Inn as your Revival Point.

Black Market

In many parts of the Land you may encounter dubious merchants who buy and sell illegal items. They are Black Market Merchants and theri items are typically of uncertain origin.

Weapons bought through the Black Market can be cheap and of low-quality or expensive and of exceptionally high-quality. Sometimes they can be superior weapons with superlative history.

(Adding Ornaments can give items many desirable attributes.) Ornamentation refers to attaching Ornaments to weapons or clothes to gives those items heightened functionality. Anyone can learn to attach ornaments but making the Clasps to attach ornaments(or remove ornaments that are already attached) can only be done by skilled craftsmen. These skilled craftmen will ask for payment and certain raw Materials to make the clasps for ornamentation. There is also a chance that their work will fail, and if it does then the weapons/clothes and materials may be destroyed.

If you wish to have additional clasps or pockets added to your weapons or clothes then these same skilled
crafts,em cam dp tjat as well. The possibility remains that their work will fail, and it it does then the weapons / clothes and materials may be destroyed.

Removing Ornaments
The craftman will charge a fee to return an item to it`s original state, but know that that this process will destroy the Ornaments. For an additional fee and some extra materials, the Ornaments can be seperated and used again. There is also a risk of failure when seperating Oranaments.

Weapon Refinement

Refining a weapon with special raw materials can raise that weapon`s basic stats.

For a price, a skilled craftman can take a normal weapon and craft it into a superior weapon with additional capabilities. The extent of these changes vary by weapon type.

The Master Refiner is Mo Tainlan, who runs his own refinement shop in Heifei.

To have Mo Tailan refine a weapon for you, you should bring her the required fee and the requested materials. The more you refine a weapon the higher the quality of materials you will need. Most materials can be acquired by trading Blood Essence (sometimes referred to as The Blood of The Dragon) to merchants who carry refinement materials. Mo Tailan will tell you that she requires.

Know that there is a risk to refinement, even with a craftsman as skilled as Mo Tailan. There is a small
chance that the weapon will be destroyed in the process. However, if Mo Tailan succeeds, your weapon will become far more powerful.

If you refine a weapon to a very high level with Dragon`s Blood it will generate a powerful aura of illumination.

Refinement of Normal Weapons
The advantage of attempting to refine normal weapons is that they have a higher success rate and lower chance of being destroyed. However, even if they are refined many times to maximize their attack power, theri basic properites never change. Their advantage also makes them less valuebale than toerh types of weaons.

Refinement of Precious Items and Artifacts
Precious items are more difficult to refine than normal items, but they can be refined with the same material. These are much more valuable because they often gain additional functions after refinement.

Other Weapons
Weapons that bear the names of famous people are precious items. It would be unfortunate to destroy such a special weapon by risking refinement, but it also presents an opportunity to create a truly unique weapon.

Items that Cannot Be Refined
Refiners will not refine weapons that are already very powerful or rare. It is an unwritten law between refiners because they fear that they might accidentally destroy a precious weapon. None of them wish to risk the disgrace of destroying a famous weaon. Additionally. high level items may have already achieved their maximum power. Talk to the refiner to find out if a weapon can be refined.

Refinement Material
Refinement materials are made from the careful extraction of Blood Essence. Give Blood Essence to a merchant and he will trade you the materials you require. Although it is rare, you may find Blood Essence carried by disciples of Deviant Clans.

Collecting Materials

The raw materials that can be found in The Land are varied and plentiful. It is well worth your while to collect certain raw materials as there are NPCs who will buy collections from you for tremendous amounts of gold, or they may exchange something even more valuebale. You can check the status of your material collections by pressing the (L) key.

Collecting Collecibles

You may also find some collecible items while you travel The Land. These items have a rich history and that makes them quite valueble. Wan Daye, a collector who resides in the Heifei Marketplace is a conesseur of such trinkets.

If you take your collections to Wan Daye he will exchange them for items of great vaule. You can check the status of your collectables by pressing the (L) key.
