Gai-Pan - The League of Beggars White clan
Headquarters location : Tianjin City, Hubei Province
The Gai-Pan are famous for their use of the drunken monkey style. This style originated because of the tough life of a beggar on the streets of ancient China. Their fighting skills are very practical. Training is mostly based around real life activities such as finding food and staying alive! Gai-Pan fighting skills use deception to get opponents off-guard. Since they are a clan of beggars, most of the skills began as real life activities such as begging, snake-hunting (remember it?s ancient China), and chasing away stray dogs, before being stylized into a fighting art. Some of the skills like drunken monkey fighting actually require you to drink alcohol before use!

Classes
Vanguard Beggars(Warrior type) - Vanguards are great brawlers. They understand the drunken monkey fighting style and can also use staves with great power.
Dragon Beggars(Caster type) - Dragon Beggars use Chi or inner spiritual power to enhance their fighting abilities. Although physically weak, they use mind skills to increase their defense or absorb a physical attack.
Strategy Beggars(Healer type) - Strategy Beggars only have a few fighting skills, but can help other players by healing them. They can also increase others? health or defense temporarily, or cure internal or external wounds. Healers are especially essential when player parties want to explore dungeons or to engage in battles with other parties or guilds.
Spirit Beggars(Hybrid type) - They are the jack of all trades. They can use drunken monkey fighting, strengthen themselves with their Chi and even heal themselves. However, remember - jack of all trades, master of none!
Traditionally, The League?s disciples fought recklessly, either on their own, or in groups like packs of wild dogs. During the War of Nine Dragons, they realized the limits of their fighting style. Number and spirit alone could not conquer sound military strategy. Thus, they implemented the four Roles of Vanguards, Strategists, Spirits and Dragons.
Vanguard Beggar Vanguard Beggars are The League?s muscle. They stand in the front lines to fight opponents and protect innocents. Vanguards concentrate their training on mastering aggressive Kung Fu and Staff maneuvers. * Because Life is of paramount importance, Constitution is their most important concern. Essence is harder to develop for them, and Wisdom is not as important as other attributes.
Strategy Beggar Strategy Beggars must be cunning to direct The League¡¯s strategy and Formation techniques, for should they make poor choices, their fellows will fall. They strive to master the Chi Kung ways of Drunken Fist and Entelechy Arts. * Essence and Wisdom are key for this role. Constitution is harder to develop for them.
Spirit Beggar With tireless passion, Spirit Beggars carry out stealthy, one-person operations. Spirits become competent in each one of the Clan?s techniques, except for staff skills, giving them a wide range of Kung Fu and Chi Kung abilities. * They emphasize Constitution and Essence, and use Kung Fu for offense and Chi Kung for defensive with equal skill. Wisdom is harder for them to develop.
Dragon Beggar Dragons master The League?s powerful Chi Kung palm strikes. Suitable for striking an opponent down even from a distance. Mastery of Vital Energy heightens their inner force. The highest level of their training, called Eighteen Palms of Descending Dragon, was mastered only by their lost Dragon, Hu Shanshan. * They place emphasis on Essence and Wisdom. Strength is harder for them to develop, and they are ill-suited to melee combat.
